EmploymentClass 1 Driver – Dedicated Side-Dumps (Nights)

We are recruiting an experienced Class 1 Company Driver to service a night shift to Invermere, BC. Super B side-dumps will be picked up in Calgary, AB prior to loading and delivered back by the end of the shift. The mine we service is open Monday – Friday and our driver schedules follow the same timeline with weekends off.  We are a PIC carrier, dedicated to the highest safety standards and committed to our safety culture. • Responsibilities:
  • Completion of all pre/post equipment inspections & safety checks on vehicle/tires
  • On-road safety compliance and maintenance of posted speed limits
  • Navigation on mountain highways (HWY 1 & 93) in winter conditions
  • Utilization of PeopleNet ELD system and accurate HOS compliance procedures
  • Following all SOP’s & compliance measures for loading and off-loading side-dump trailers
  • Organization of client paperwork or electronic documents
  • Representation of Tri-line Carriers to external stakeholders & customers
  • Ensuring courteous interactions with customers & the public

Qualifications:

• Class 1 License
• 2 years super-B experience
• Professional (class 1) mountain experience
• Ability to pass drug and medical testing
• Clean drivers abstract
• Excellence and commitment to safety compliance
• Proven demonstration of customer service behaviors
• Experience with e-logs is an asset

Pay Schedule: $271.50/day

Monday – Friday (nights)
